I'm working on SQL `CREATE TABLE` in Daft. I remember <@U07DSKVN78T> <@U071FMQUR7W> you guys discussing the creation of in-memory sources from the Rust side a while back. Is that a capability that we have now? And if not, what still needs to be done?

You won't need this for `CREATE TABLE` since you won't need to create a DataFrame though. These helpers are for creating in-memory dataframes from rust.

Unless you were thinking about `CREATE TABLE .. AS` which is an extension combining DDL and DML in one. If you're going pure DDL, then I don't think you'll need this.

I might need it in the future but for now I just plan on implementing simple `CREATE TABLE` and `INSERT INTO` operations for in-memory tables

`INSERT INTO` will need it since that's DML
