Ray tracing is merged to main! To enable it, run your jobs with

DAFT_ENABLE_RAY_TRACING=1

and you should see in your Ray logs folder some new JSON files which you can drop into https://ui.perfetto.dev/ for visualizations. To find your Ray logs: • If you’re running Ray on your single machine, your latest logs can be found in

/tmp/ray/session_latest/logs/daft

• If you’re running Ray remotely (cc @Colin Ho) you can access it via the dashboard (I’ll try to take a little video so this is easier). ◦ Click into your job ◦ Hit the job info button (the little (i) icon) ◦ Scroll down to where you can find the “Other Logs” ◦ Clear the searchbar ◦ Navigate to the

daft/

folder.
